The symptomat is too imprecise or produces incorrect results. Why is that?
1. The Symptomat is still under development and numerous diseases and symptoms are still missing from the database.
2. The statements of the symptoms by the user are often subjective and can be misinterpreted. For example, the symptoms of tremors and chills are not the same, but they can be confused and thus lead to different results. Also, the user may have specified too few symptoms to analyze, so that not enough information is available for a more accurate result. On the other hand, the user may have stated too many symptoms that are not related to their actual illness. For example, an overweight user could report joint pain or back pain in addition to their cold symptoms, but these have nothing to do with their cold, but with their excess weight. This could also change the outcome significantly.
3. Symptoms based on laboratory tests, ultrasound, etc. are completely absent from the Symptomat, as the user usually does not have these values to hand immediately. This means that these, often decisive factors, cannot be included in the symptom analysis.
4. The Symptomat does not yet differentiate between male, female, child or adult, age and other important diagnostic features. Therefore, inaccuracies can also occur here.
However, we are constantly working on improving the Symptomat in order to be able to deliver more and more precise results.
