Well-being occurs sporadically with many people, with some in phases, with others always after a certain point in time. Well-being means being in harmony with external influences. The downside is the bad condition or depressive condition.
What is the wellbeing?
If enough happiness hormones flow into our brain, we feel good and are therefore in a happy state. If enough happiness hormones flow into our brain, we feel good and are therefore in a happy state. Well-being is interpreted differently by many, because one's own experiences and impressions are always passed on.
It can be said that some facts speak for themselves and always mean the same thing: Well-being occurs after or during a certain act that satisfies us. Regardless of whether we feel good during or after dinner or feel good in front of the TV with a cozy blanket: Well-being always has something to do with a good inner attitude.
Function & task
Should we feel well after a hard day at work in the sauna or in the comfortable cinema armchair, we feel good and relaxed. After all, after a stressful day full of thoughts and routine, the body wants to relax and when this happens, happiness hormones are released in the brain. If things are going well in health, love and work, well-being reaches a new limit. We feel free, happy, and strong.
Well-being can very well motivate and animate us to do amazingly productive things in this mentally strong state. So if relaxing phases are inserted during or between the work steps, the function of well-being is definitely positive. During the breaks, we draw strength for further tasks that we have to master in life in order to move forward.
In order to increase their own well-being, many therefore have personal preferences: some go to the sauna, as already mentioned, others achieve their best well-being on vacation and still others like to hug their own family after a long day close. Well-being begins in every person at a different point in time and with different intensities.

As with other diseases, depression can also be chronic and / or pathological. Depression sets in when a person is unable to perceive the above-mentioned exchange of happiness hormones in the brain or when it is not balanced at all. This can have several causes and therefore be diagnosed differently. For example, if someone loses a family member or a good friend, their job and / or cheats on the girlfriend or boyfriend, this can have significant repercussions for some people. Well-being is then clouded and, in the worst case, depression sets in.
This can appear when the sick person believes that there is no longer any hope in their life. Many people with depression are preoccupied with thoughts of suicide. Depression builds up over the years and cannot be overcome overnight. Many sick people resort to drugs and alcohol.
Since drugs, like medicines, cause our brain to briefly dedicate itself to a different function, the happiness hormones, which the brain normally produces independently, can be artificially generated for a short time. If the drugs or medication run out, the consumer often falls into an even sadder state and is thus even further removed from well-being.
Sport is good medicine here: Anyone who wants to increase their own well-being again is well served with sport in any form. Above all, people who are overweight or obese are plagued by mood swings and depression, because eating is also a source of happiness, so that a certain sense of well-being arises during, before and after eating. Depression can therefore lead to further illnesses, because since the well-being simply does not want to set in during a depression, this is often caused briefly by external ingestion of unhealthy things.
