Be beautiful even in winter. This requires clothing, hairstyle and make-up that match the season. These attributes of beauty, which should form a harmonious triad, are subject to changes in fashion. This winter, the colors of the makeup are warm, gentle and delicate. The eye area is now also highlighted decoratively. However, take this fashion note only as a suggestion and choose the make-up that suits you best.
The right shades for winter
Be beautiful even in winter. This requires clothing, hairstyle and make-up that match the season. You can find out more about cleaning the skin before maquillage and about make-up techniques here. In the following, we therefore want to turn to the winter season with the fashionable accents.
The so-called small decoration applies to the day. It consists of the shaping of the eyebrows, the discreet accentuation of the upper edge of the eyelid, the ticking of the eyelashes and the choice of a suitable lipstick. In any case, the make-up depends on the individual face shape, whereby the individual features of the face, more or less emphasized, have to develop a harmony of colors that should reflect your entire personality.
You have to know that all light tones push forward, while the dark tones flee and recede. By observing this effect, we can correct imperfections in our facial contours. For example, if the face is longer, the forehead and chin are kept darker, but the cheeks and ears are tinted light. With a broad face, on the other hand, the middle areas should be light and the outside should be darker. This lamination is done with the help of blush and powder.
For the skin primer, use a light pink shade for pale complexions, light beige for a red-cheeked face and foundation (make-up, fond de teint) for a brunette skin type, depending on your skin color, beige to light brown. Scars, warts or the edges of the eyes are covered up with a pink or yellowish top cream.
Correct make-up in winter
Depending on the shape of the face, we apply three small dots of blush at the level of the cheekbones and distribute them well with the fingertips, towards the temples for a narrow face and not beyond the cheekbones for a more rounded face. You can avoid hard edges if you carefully blur the contours.
Now a touch of powder on the chin, bridge of the nose and middle forehead area. Now draw a thin eyeliner on the upper edge of the eyelid along the lash line with a soft, pointed eyebrow pencil (black is recommended) or with black or blue mascara. If you still have a young, wrinkle-free eye area, you can frame the whole eye. If the face is no longer very young, however, the lower edge of the eyelid should not be emphasized.
Eye shadow is very lightly applied to the upper eyelid and finely distributed up to the eyebrows, leaving out the inner corners of the eyes. With large make-up, eyeshadows can look like butterfly wings, namely when the wing tip is flush with the end of the eyebrow. The lash line can be given a stronger accent if you draw a second line over the dark line with a brush, in the color of the eye shadow.
The current colors have a bright, luminous character, such as light purple, silver blue, turquoise, light gray and light brown. With the tinting of the eyelashes, you proceed as with a summer make-up. While washing, brush the upper lashes several times in the direction of the temples. This gives you a nice curve. Then, depending on your requirements, place more or less artificial fluff on the still damp eyelashes.
If you wear artificial eyelashes, please note that they have to be cut according to the shape of the eye before gluing them on, preferably in an irregular zigzag line, otherwise the image of the sleeping doll's eyes will appear. Before sticking, the real eyelashes are connected to the false ones with the help of an ink brush and the attachment point is covered with light eyeliner.
Makeup for the eyes in winter
The upward swinging of the eyebrows is no longer fashionable, nor is a continuous line. Trace the brows in small, continuous strokes. The most recommended colors are again gray and brown. We complete the make-up with the lipstick. The tones are radiant and flattering at the same time. The color spectrum ranges from delicate pastel to dark ruby, always tailored to your complexion and clothing. There are nourishing, greasy lipsticks on the market that are very well tolerated by brittle, dry lips, but they lick themselves off fairly easily.
They hold better if the mouth is pretreated with a complexion base or light powder. In contrast, the decorative, low-fat lipsticks are more adhesive and color-intensive. For the fashionable pastel tones of these pens, a primer with white lipstick is recommended, which prevents darkening.
But what about our glasses wearers? The beautiful, individual shapes of today's glasses can make a face very appealing and interesting, especially when the color of the frame harmonizes with the iris. The lower edge of the glasses can be so unstressed that you don't even notice it. Since the glasses in many cases enlarge the eyes anyway, they should not be enlarged by the make-up.
But if you don't want to do without color effects as a person wearing glasses, please choose very light shades for the eyelids and use them as discreetly as possible. In general, the same make-up for the evening as the day make-up for women without glasses applies to women who wear glasses. If we could give our glasses wearers one more piece of advice, it would be to buy two glasses in any case, one of which should be reserved for festive occasions in terms of shape and color.
The individual features of a face change in the course of life. Make-up should also adapt to these changes. Experienced beauticians therefore recommend using make-up very sparingly up to the age of 20. From 20 to 30 you can emphasize the benefits a little more and from 30 to 40 you can increase the make-up the most. After 50, however, it should be as economical again as it was up to the age of 20. Please use these suggestions as a general guide only. Make-up cannot be pressed into a stencil.
It is well known that anticipation is pure joy. That's why we want to take a cosmetic look at spring right away. For all those who finally want to bring a system into their beauty care, the beginning of spring is an almost ideal start, because this time of year is the most visible successes to be achieved if you do it right.
Skin care & makeup
There is no question that the most important thing for systematic skin care is thorough deep cleansing. If possible, do this cleansing once a week in the evening by applying plenty of fat cream firmly to the areas of the face and neck with your hands and then vacuuming it off and repeating this over a period of two minutes. With cellulose or cotton wool pads now remove the remains of the applied fat cream. Repeat this whole procedure five more times. You will be amazed how gratefully your skin answers this detox. Three to four cold compresses close the pores again.
In our daily care we have to note that, in contrast to winter, less fat should be used in spring and summer. Fat is more of an indirect skin care product, which, in addition to its protective effect, protects the skin against excessive dehydration. In the warm season, I would like to advise you to use light preparations and hydrophilic cosmetics. In the spring, the skin primarily requires vitamins, and in the summer, moisturizing and refreshing treatments with the addition of herbal extracts, which are available as ready-made preparations. It is a different matter if the skin is occasionally given a fat cream pack to which you can add freshly squeezed vegetable or fruit juices.
We leave such a pack on for twenty minutes under a warm compress over which we put a dry terry towel. Finally, one more piece of advice. The skin is a mirror of many processes that take place in the body. Skin changes are not infrequently a sign of diseases of the internal organs. That is why we should not only take care of the shell, but also do something to keep our whole body healthy.
