The tentorium cerebelli is a skin in the brain and delimits the posterior cranial fossa (fossa cranii posterior) from the middle cranial fossa (fossa cranii media). The brain stem protrudes through the tentorium slit (Incisura tentorii). There can be tears in the tissue
